    Abstract:

    From the study of the cardiac ganglion of the lobster model, this paper made a detailed analysis on the complex bursting produced in it from the perspective of nonlinear dynamics. By discussing the roles of electrophysiological parameters under different cases, the rich dynamical properties are contained in the complex bursting of the cardiac ganglion of the lobster model, such as the InterSpike Intervals(ISIs) is period adding bifurcation and period doubling bifurcation. From the model results, we can get a further understanding of the rich firing patterns and rhythm coding, which are contained in the burst firing of the cardiac ganglion of the lobster.
