Journal of Dynamics and Control is a bi-monthly Chinese journal,approved by the State Press and Publication Administration, sponsored by the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics and Hunan University and published domestically and abroad. The objective of Journal of Dynamics and Control is to spread knowledge of science, to provide academic exchange platform and to promote the development of dynamics and control discipline. The journal editors, the peer-reviewers, the authors, the publisher and the owner of the journal are the key parts of this objective. Each of parts plays an important role in achieving this aim. It therefore follows that the author, the journal editor, the peer-reviewers, the publisher and the owner of Society-owned journals have responsibilities to meet expected ethical standards at all stages in their involvement from submission to publication of an article. Editorial Department of Journal of Dynamics and Control is committed to meeting and upholding standards of ethical behaviour at all stages of the publication process. As part of this objective, Editorial Department of Journal of Dynamics and Control itself adopts a neutral position on issues treated within its Journals. We follow closely the Scientific Ethics for Scientific and Technical Workers issued by China Association for Science and Technology, Suggestions on Strengthening the Academic Moral Construction issued by Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), that set standards and provide guidelines for best practices in order to meet these requirements.
