Symmetry classifications and reductions for generalized Burgers equation were discussed specifically by using Lie group method, where is the smooth function of . And we obtained eight categories classified symmetry and the corresponding reduced equation of . The results provide reference for the exact solutions of the generalized Burgers equation study.
